DJ and Founder of Expressway Music
David Swirsky is Expressway Music. A little information about David. He's one of the nicest people on earth. When he's working he's ALWAYS smiling (ALWAYS) and if you look behind the dj booth... you'll see him shaking his hips and moving his feet. He loves what he does. He connects people. Connects total strangers at big parties with sounds. He feels the energy of a room and can always get people out of their seats and onto the dance floor. Even people who don't dance! He's pretty incredible. He's also one of the most zen people I know. He's zen.... and has no clue how zen he is. He'd make a great zazen practitioner. He's always calm and looking to improve who he is. He's always thinking with a beginners mind, while he is indeed a master DJ.
To know Dave, or to have him as a DJ at a party you attend... that is a fortune of fortunes. Solid gold. He gives you dance fever. And he gives everyone love."

Ruka and I want to give you our sincerest thanks for making our wedding last Friday such a fun and memorable experience. If we didn't have to mingle with everyone we would have never left the dance floor! I think the fact that so many of our guests ended up dancing the night away speaks volumes.
We are so, so glad that we trusted you to make our wedding such a blast - all of our expectations were far exceeded. In the coming days, we'll be writing rave reviews to post on all the relevant sites and will be recommending you to anyone and everyone who will need a DJ in the future. Again, thank you so much.
You are awesome and there is a buzz going on around the firm about the "excellent DJ that we had at the party last night".
I just want you to know that you can use me as an enthusiastic reference any day of the week. Also, I gave our Director of HR your contact information in case he needs to do anything firm wide that I might not be involved with. I also told him that should he want to use your services, I would be very happy to coordinate all of the necessary with him/you.
Thank you so much! The party is nothing but food if the DJ isn't rocking the house. And which you surely did.
Best to you,
Our family was so lucky to have you coordinate all of the entertainment
for Lexi's Bat Mitzvah weekend. You pulled off two very different
parties, with a hugely successful Bat Mitzvah luncheon on Saturday in a
hotel ballroom and then an all-out fun restaurant dinner celebration on
Sunday night. Every moment working with all of you has been
pitch-perfect from our very first meeting. The magician totally
"wowed" the cocktail crowd, so they knew it was going to be an
extraordinary night right from moment one. What a doll! Your dancers
were extraordinarily professional- they got to know the Bat Mitzvah
girl's friends as well as the adult guests without ever being intrusive.
I could write a whole note just complimenting them. DJ Hank played such
great music that I danced with the kids awhile and they were all
exclaiming that it was "the best Bat Mitzvah they had ever gone to". I
wish I could go clubbing with him every weekend! Out front with you the
DJ and karaoke was a blast and my friends and family could not stop laughing,
dancing, hugging, talking, taking photos. I know I was really specific
about the music and you exceeded every expectation in every single
regard. I am so glad that we have a video memory of the event AND
photos, seeing it on the plasma screen TVs while it was all happening
made it seem like we were at a really fun rock concert! Plus we got to
go home with super-fun super-imposed photos, so even while we wait for
our stills, we already have the most hysterical photos- Lexi took so
many with her friends and today they are already hanging up in her
locker at school! And finally MC Alberto, was a treasure! He is the best friend
that everyone must have at an event, exactly and totally there when you
need him and just unobtrusive when you don't. He has a personality that
people just want to be around him and hang out with him, while at the
same time he is smoothly moving everything along. The kids were raving
about his raffle, all with questions about the Bat Mitzvah girl! He was
an absolute delight to work with. I think the trick is that Expressway
offers professional, truly nice people and together you are all totally
focused on making every second of the party into a really magical time.
We are getting non-stop calls and e-mails, everyone agrees it was just
the most fabulous two days! Thank you for ensuring that the most
important weekend for our family had the absolute greatest memories that
we could ever ask for.
With much love and appreciation,
Karen, Elliot and Alexis Lerner
