De seversky mansion Wedding
Expressway Music DJ Jeanine was the DJ for Kyle and Adele’s Wedding last weekend at the DeSeversky Mansion in Old Westbury, Long Island.
Very rarely do you see a group who likes to party like this one. Not only did they dance all wedding long but they also sang Karaoke (which we also provided). While some guests were singing others were dancing!
DJ Jeanine is one of our top requested DJ year after year for her amazing energy and ability to motivate a crowd with outstanding music.
In addition to supplying the DJ and Karaoke to the wedding, Expressway Music also provided the lighting for the reception. The De Seversky Mansion is a very unique venue in that when you arrive you feel like you are stepping back into the Gatsby Era of the 1920’s. There are not many places that have that distinction.
We wanted to express our sincere gratitude to you. Guests (and us!) had a wonderful time thanks to you!!Maybe we will see you at another party/wedding sometime in the future! 😉

Thank you for being a part of my special day! You were perfect I couldn’t ask for a better DJ! Your taste in music is so good and you knew exactly what we wanted. The entire party was up and dancing the whole time. I really couldn’t ask for more, it was so perfect! I will send you some photos when they come through. Thank you again, you are a great person!
I dj’d another wedding at the Scarsdale Golf Club Friday night and it was such a great experience. The lovely Bride and Groom hired both me (as their DJ and for decor lighting) and our violinist Yan (for the wedding ceremony). 1/2 the guests were Greek/American and the other half Irish/American. The dancing truly didn’t stop all night. Here is a clip of a traditional Greek Dance (Zorba the Greek)
The Scarsdale Golf Club is a beautiful, well run Facility. A huge part of the success of the wedding was due to their director of sales and catering Connie. She and i work very well together and their staff is also delightful to work with. They work very hard and are always smiling! Here is a photo of my DJ Set up that night(in the daytime you can see the Golf course in the Back round.
I played songs from many genres and guests responded by dancing all night long. From oldies to Reggae and Salsa, 80’s to hip hop and much more.
Thank you to Bride and Groom (Ryan and Stephanie) and to Connie and her staff at the Scarsdale Golf Club. It was an amazing night all around. I am so glad they chose me for their dj!!!

South Hampton Wedding
Our DJ Jeanine rocked another wedding recently at South Hampton Long Island venue 230 Elm. Jeanine told us that the wedding was literally a love fest and that the couples family and friends couldn’t have been nicer or more fun. She said “If you don’t believe me then check out the photos”!
DJ Jeanine said that it was like every guest had this incredible energy that she fed off and that their seemed to be a real connection between her and guests.
Music and Dancing was a central theme of this wedding and DJ Jeanine delivered. DJ Jeanine said that she wishes she could take this group on every gig!
Here is DJ Jeanine and her set up. Thank you to the lovely Bride & Groom for having our DJ for their big day!
Did you ever see the scene in the Movie “Big” where Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia play “Chopsticks” and “Heart and Soul” on a Gigantic Piano with their feet? We now own and rent out that “Big” Piano for Parties and Corporate events. Check out the scene, taken at FAO Schwartz in NYC
You can rent the piano for your next event and we also have performers who can play cocktail hour also. Contact us for more information!!!
Glen Island Harbour Club Wedding
Mike and Kristen were celebrated their Wedding Saturday at popular Wedding Venue the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle NY. Expressway Music provided the Pianist for cocktail hour, DJ for the reception and 2 60′ plasma screens for the montage.
After cocktail hour DJ Dave Swirsky DJ’d the reception. Here is a shot before guests entered the room.
There were many touching toast and speeches and the Montage about the Bride & Groom was very well done. Here is a photo of it playing on our screens.
There were so many happy moments during this wedding the couple was smiling all evening long!
There was also 2 food trucks, photo booth, a huge dessert room and a beautiful outdoor space overlooking the Water!
Thank you to the lovely couple and congratulations on your amazing wedding!
On a beautiful summer’s day, Lynda and Paul were married yesterday at the picturesque Wedding/Event Venue The Central Park Boathouse.
As guests arrived the popular Expressway Music trio “Green Cental Station” played outside for the pre-ceremony cocktail hour.
The wedding ceremony was short and truly sweet. Expressway Music provided the guitarist and sound for the officient.
Expressway Music guitarist Jason.
Expressway Music dj David was the dj for the wedding and was joined by Expressway music trio “Green Central Station” for the reception. They traded sets throughout the wedding.
There were many unique moments in this wedding including the bridesmaids doing a custom dance for the bride and groom to a music melody they mixed themselves. There was also a LOT of dancing throughout!
Thank you to Lynda and Paul and hope they have a great time on their one month honeymoon!! Also, thank you to wonderful Maitre de Harold from the Boathouse for running another successful wedding!!!

I was just getting on line to write you a thank you before we run off to the honeymoon when I saw your note! I didn’t get a chance to say a word to you all day but everytime I heard a great song, which was often, I looked up and saw you there and smiled! The band was great, too, though I’m wistful for all the songs I missed during the cocktail hour. However, my guests really enjoyed them–and you! (that was probably obvious!) I love all the Paul Simon / Simon and Garfunkel–wondered how you’d integrate in some of my “non-danceable” tunes and was so impressed and happy with how it all worked. (“Bridge Over Troubled Water” was especially perfect as the last song –I could write you a mini-novel about all the personal reasons why. But somehow you intuited the rightness of it and included it in the perfect spot–thank you!). Oh, and eternally grateful to you for getting the Ray LaMontagne in for the cake cutting (It was my first dance choice but Paul, though he liked it, hadn’t wanted it for various reasons. So glad you got it in there! Really great!)
Thanks again for everything! You and the band were just what our wedding needed musically to get the party started and keep it going! I’m going to have to write Danya a big thank you, too! You really were wonderful. Please pass on my big thanks to Jason and GCS–it was all great (my agent commented on how much she loved the recessional. I loved everything I got to hear! Just great!)
Lynda (and Paul, who really enjoyed the tunes, too!)
Dyker Beach Golf Club Wedding
DJ Dave Swirsky was back Saturday night to DJ Adam and Sandee’s Wedding at the Unique and Elegant Event space Dyker Beach Golf Club. DJ Dave provided the music for the entire wedding including the outdoor wedding ceremony!
The Processional was elegant and classy.
DJ Dave provided the officient with a Wireless microphone and played music for most of the Ceremony.
After Ceremony guests went to the Patio for cocktail hour where DJ Dave had set up a bose speaker and custom playlist. After cocktail hour guests went to the main space for Dinner and a lot of dancing! (We also provided the Decor Uplighting!)
The guest list comprised of about 160 people of all ages. DJ Dave played a diverse mix that kept everyone happy and dancing the entire night. The Bride & Groom were thrilled with how happy their guests were!
We were back (DJ Dave and The Expressway Music Jazz Quartet) at the amazing Harold Pratt House for a Summer wedding Sunday. It was a beautiful day and April and her staff really made it a special day for all involved (and particularly the Bride & Groom)
DJ Dave and his assistant arrived early to set up a Bose speaker and microphone for the Ceremony and another Bose Speaker and microphone for toasts in the Dining Room. The Expressway Music Jazz Quartet was there to play Classical Music for the pre-ceremony music(as guests arrive), the ceremony (processional and recessional songs) and then played pop and jazz for cocktail hour upstairs in the Foyer.

DJ Dave packed the dance floor for the remaining two hours of the Wedding (downstairs)
Thank you so much to April and the Harold Pratt House for always being so accommodating!
