Sterling Publishing, a division of Barnes and Nobles, held their annual Office, XMAS, Holiday party at the Union Square Ballroom this past Monday evening in NY City. Employees had a ball singing karaoke and dancing to to tunes played by DJ David of Expressway Music. Highlights included great renditions of Bonnie Raitt’s “Something to talk about” and “It’s the End of the World” by REM. Everyone had so much fun at the party that dj Dave was asked to play 2 hours overtime.
American Express held their holiday-christmas event/party at popular Manhattan NYC venue Battery Gardens last Thursday evening.
The Party began by guests singing a group rendition of “So Long, Farewell” from the Sound of Music dedicated to their Boss because it’s his favorite film. While there was a lot of karaoke singing there was also a lot of dancing to the Expressway Music dj whom was asked to stay an extra hour overtime.
On December 10th Gloria Vanderbilt held their holiday party at the Westside Loft in Manhattan. 275 guests enjoyed dinner and dancing to disc jockey Dave Swirsky of Expressway Music. Expressway Music also provided Comedian and emcee Matt Taylor to the delight of the guests in attendence. The Party was produced and Catered by Marian of Albert F Catering headquartered in Glen Rock New Jersey.
Gabriels Restaurant Party
On December 13 a well known NYC Law Firm held their annual Holiday/Christmas/Office party at Gabriel’s on W.60th in Manhattan NYC. Employees wined, dined and danced all party long to Dj David from Expressway Music.
Guests were dancing so much that management approved 2 hours of overtime!
Expressway Music has been dj’ing this Law Firms Parties for many years. Each year it is held at a different event venue in NYC. We’re so glad they chose Gabriels Restaurant this year!!
Max had his bar mitzvah at the Rainbow Room yesterday. For the most part there were two seperate parties with Kids in one area and adults in the Rainbow room itself. At the beginning of the party adults and kids were together in the Rainbow room where Max’s parents were introduced into the Room by emcee Lonnie(from Los Angeles). That was quickly followed up by Max’ candlelighting where dj Dave Swirsky from Expressway Music NYC provided the music. The kids then went back to thier party and adults ate lunch to the music of disc jockey Dave. Guests danced all afternoon to DJ Dave’s music. The kids rejoined the adults to view a montage of Max’ life. DJ Dave had guests dancing the rest of the afternoon and guests left happy at 5pm. The event planner for the bar mitzvah was Madeline from MZ Events New York City(NYC).
Last Wednesday evening Expressway Music Disc Jockey Dave Swirsky provided the music for a corporate pre-holiday party at NYC fine Italian restaurant Rossini’s on 38th Street. DJ Dave played music covering many different artists and styles and after guests ate dinner from the vast and delicious Rossini’s buffet they danced until the party ended at midnight.
