We are hired predominantly for our Wedding Disc Jockey services. Most of the time, our DJ’sare hired to perform during the cocktail hour, and then for four hours at the reception. For those couples who are getting married at the reception site, our DJ’s are also available to play music for when the guests arrive and for the ceremony. How do you handle all the many details of my wedding so that my fiancee and I can relax and have fun at our wedding?

we are ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS! Every single person who works at Expressway Music whether it be a DJ or Administrator is hired based their acute attention to detail.  We are OCD with the details.…it may drive our significant others a little crazy but it’s a really good and necessary trait for this business. You could hire the “best” dj in the world but if they play the wrong 1st dance song or pronounce the bride or grooms name incorrectly or play songs off your “do not play” list it can be very disconcerting.

It seems that most Every wedding we attend the music presentation is choppy. Our wedding has guests from all ages and numerous ethnicities, how do  you make it so everyone is involved dancing and preferably dancing together?

Pacing. It’s all about the Pacing! Every crowd is different..some have many more younger guests…some have many more older guests…sometimes it’s an even mix. Our DJ’s know how to pace the night and build crescendos. This is something that absolutely can’t be taught. DJ’s get better at this the more Weddings they DJ. Our DJ’s are hands down the best at this that you will find. It’s the difference between a good wedding and an outstanding one.

Before we sign an agreement can we speak and meet with the dj?
Yes, in fact we encourage this. We will either give you the dj’s phone number or we will have our dj contact you. You will always be able to contact us and your dj quickly and easily.

Can your DJ also act as the MC?
Yes. All of our DJ’s have pleasant voices and can make the necessary announcements and introductions but are NOT on the microphone otherwise. All our dj’s are “cheese free”.

Have you performed at our venue?
Chances are, yes. Our dj’s have played at the majority of the finest wedding venues in New York City and the tri state area, and, better yet, know the acoustics well so we get the best sound possible for each room we play. Knowing the staff at each venue also helps everything go better the day of the wedding.

We have a montage we would like to play during the reception. Do you have a Projector and Screen we can rent to play it during that time?
Yes, we are hired for this all the time. We will set it up during the reception, play the montage, and break it down with our state of the art Screen and Projector Rental

What is your Price?

Our fee depends on the DJ and other variables such as the amount of time you would like to book us for, the particular service(s) and other things. Please feel free to contact us. We aren’t pushy and have been told many times that our pricing is extremely fair and affordable.
