The Professionals play music for all occasions, including weddings, corporate events and private parties in and out of NYC-Manhattan.
The core wedding band consists of six professional musicians from varied musical backgrounds. They have been playing together for many years and are actively performing at Weddings and Corporate events in the Manhattan NYC Tri-state area. The band also has been hired as a 9 or 12 piece(which includes a horn section and additional vocalists)
The following are some unique features of the Professionals:
- Seamless transitions between songs-When guests are packed on the dance floor the band will play from one song into another without the dreaded “dead air” which causes guests to leave the dance floor. The Band’s transitions between songs is as smooth as the best dj’s out there.
- Read and Transcribe music-All the band’s members can read and write music which means that they can quickly learn songs that you would like them to play that are not on their current playlist. Most bands can learn 1 or 2, the Professionals can learn many more.
- Band/DJ combinations-The band is often hired to play along with one of our fine DJ’s. The mix between a live band and original music is electric and we have a lot of experience with the band and disc jockey combo.
- Music will ALWAYS be at a reasonable sound level. Never too loud.
