J and K were married last night at the unique and popular Restaurant/Event space City Hall Restaurant in Tribeca New York City. DJ Dave was the Disc Jockey for the Wedding.

The wedding began with Cocktails quickly followed by the Ceremony in the same room.

Last but FAR from Least is the amazing Amira and Staff from City Hall Restaurant. The food is exceptional, the venue spectacular and Amira and Staff pull miracles off to make guests and vendors alike feel like there is no other place they would rather be!!!  Thank you mostly to J & K for having us provide the music for their wedding!!!!

DJ/Owner of Expressway Music NYC, Dave Swirsky, was the DJ For Julia’s Bat mitzvah (Dave was also the dj for Julia’s 3 older siblings) at Harvest on the Hudson in Hastings on the Hudson NY.

H on H is beautifully situated close to the water and on a nice day, as Saturday was, it is picturesque.

The kids had so much fun between the non stop dancing, singing (yes Dave brought Karaoke!)and friends presentations. Here are some photos:

The wedding was a total dance party and DJ Dave covered many styles of music that kept guests dancing for almost 4 hours straight. Thank you to Maitre dj Gabe who did a terrific job. NYC Photojournalist Hillary Harvey was the Photographer for the wedding. Thank you to the Bride and Groom for having us provide the music to their amazing, fun wedding!

On Cinco De Mayo Margaret and Orlando were married at the elegant Crest Hollow Country Club in Long Island. Expressway Music DJ’s provided the Sound for the ceremony, Projector and Screen for the Montage and the Disc Jockey for the Wedding.  The wedding was a huge success. Here is a photo of the bridal party right before they were to be announced in the room by DJ Dave.

The bride and groom spent 3 months learning their 1st dance and it really paid off with many guests saying it was the best first dance they’d ever seen……and..they danced in costume!!!

Maitre de Larry and his staff were absolutely outstanding running the wedding. Many plans were scrapped at the last second and they responded with out missing a beat.  For a Sunday night wedding there was a ton of dancing with many happy guests. Thank you so much to he Bride/Groom and their families for putting together a beautiful wedding!

 DJ Dave Swirsky, MC Dan Kingman and two Expressway Music Dancers entertained the kids all evening. The Karaoke was also a HUGE hit as kids sang to songs from the Beatles to Demi Lovato!

It was a beautiful Saturday evening on Park Ave NYC that bride & groom were married at the Historic
Harold Pratt House (AKA Peterson Hall). Here is a photo of the Cocktail hour. 

After cocktail hour in the upstairs library guests were treated to a delicious dinner provided by Top NYC Caterer Thomas Preti Caterers. Guests also gave some very heartfelt and humorous toasts(on the bose sound system/microphone provided by Expressway Music)

After dinner guests came downstairs to the Drawing Room for dancing and the photo booth!

The Harold Pratt house is a perfect place to hold an elegant wedding. Events are run impeccably by Madison and she could not be more hospitable to both guests and vendors alike!

The wedding Planner Christine Hyder from Christine Hyder events was also outstanding during the whole wedding. Christine and her assistant are on top of every detail and the results were ideal…the bride and groom had the times of their life without having to worry about one thing!

The Photo Booth was also a big hit!!

Dreamlife wedding NYC were the Photographers and videographers for the wedding and did a very nice job.

Expressway Music NYC DJ Dave Swirsky dj’d the dinner dance of a departing CEO (for an international retail company) at New York City’s landmark and legendary 21 Club last night. 

DJ Dave Played back round Jazz and instrumentals until guests were ready to dance. DJ Dave played everything from Missy Elliot to Rihanna. Guests danced so much that a guest commented they loved the music so much that NO ONE had to request a song all night!!!!  Here is a photo of DJ Dave before guests entered the room….

The food and staff at the 21 Club are first rate and everyone seemed to have a great time. Thank you so much to everyone involved in this great party!

Happy Bride & Groom

Last night was such a beautiful, joyous Wedding. The Bride and Groom were so happy that their joy was immediately picked up by their guests. Guests were smiling, dancing and hugging all evening almost as much as the newly married couple. Thier wedding was also great because of the awesome vendors hired starting with the venue The Water Club. Event manager Joanne did a great job coordinating all aspects of the party. The event was officiated by the Honorable Rudy Greco who presided over a short but sweet and entertaining wedding ceremony.

The Wedding was captured by New York City Wedding Photographer Johnny Wolf. You will love Johnny’s unobtrusive style. He’s on every shot and he is a super nice guy.

Hi David,

I also cannot thank you enough for all that you did.  It was an amazing evening.  It’s incredible what you were able to put together.  I won’t repeat everything Tammy says below but I certainly agree with all of it.  I can’t tell you how many people came up to me during the reception to tell me that the music selection was just knocking it out of the park.  So many great songs and at just the right time.  It makes such a difference.  I never needed to ‘find’ the energy to get up and dance – I just wanted to!!  Actually, I needed to find time to sit some songs out to cool off.  It was a good problem to have.  Everyone had such a great night and I honestly feel the music makes the difference.  You really pulled it all together.

As Tammy mentioned we will be working on a more formal review that hopefully you can use.  You can certainly use us as references.

Out of curiosity, is there any chance you have a playlist of the evening?  I think it would be a nice memory to revisit some of the songs throughout our lives and I know I didn’t know all of them.

The Mayan Calendar predicted that it would be the end of the world on the day of this wedding but it turned out to be nothing but a HUGE non-stop dance fest for the Bride, Groom and their friends and family. This couple lives in Australia (the Groom is Australian) and The Bride American and guests came from all over to Celebrate.   

The Wedding took place at City Hall Restaurant in Tribeca NYC. After the brief ceremony guests were treated to Expressway Music versatile Latin/American/Jazz Guitarist JP.

After Cocktail hour the dancing started and didn’t stop. Expressway Music DJ Dave Swirsky played music from many genres and some Australian classics.

We were very happy with the entire event – the music was great, Dan

did a fantastic job keeping the kids engaged and involved, we loved

having such a large dance space, the kids were gloriously happy and

really worked out for us and the ceremony that we had downstairs was

also in a beautiful space with huge windows and great views.

Quite a few people have complimented Michael’s father’s speech – he’s

87 years old and a wise and thoughtful man so we were glad people got

to see that side of him.
