Question

How many years has your company been in business?

Expressway Music was founded by David Swirsky in July 1992. 2013 is our 21st year!

Can we meet with or talk to the DJ in advance?

Absolutely. We encourage it. Just let us know and we can arrange a phone or in person meeting. We are very flexible and can arrange meetings around your schedule.

What type of equipment do you use?

We use the highest quality equipment available in our industry. Our systems are all custom built and we maintain them continuously. We use Bose speakers for their “Art Deco” look that goes perfectly with the cool & unique spaces and venues here in New York City.

What time will the talent arrive?

Our talent likes to arrive as early as possible to make certain the equipment is set up in the right place and to conduct a sound check. We will often call the venue ahead of time to confirm logistics and determine the earliest time we can arrive.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. Our policy is for up to 2 million dollars. We will provide your venue with a certificate of Insurance for your event.

We’ve decided to hire Expressway. What happens now?

We will e-mail you our standard agreement for you to sign and return to us with a deposit to hold the date. It’s straightforward and our fees are all inclusive.

“What are your payment terms?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Cash and checks are also accepted (except on equipment rentals).

Does Expressway Music provide other services/rentals other then just DJ’s?

Yes. We provide screen and projector rentals for those clients who want to show a montage during their party.

We also provide live music soloists, duos, and trios for your ceremony and or cocktail hour.

We also have provided Karaoke services since our inception in 1992.
