“Incredible and Memorable!”

Dear Dave and Dan:
Thanks so much for giving our twin boys, Jordan and Justin, the most incredible and memorable party of their lives! You guys were so patient with our requests and questions. The kids (some of whom were attending their first Bar Mitzvah ever) had a blast and didn’t want it to end. With DJ Dan’s easy-going style, witty banter and vast knowledge of music that kids adore, time just seemed to fly. He had such a wonderful rapport with everyone there. We didn’t expect the kids to completely take Dan over, but it turned out to be the best thing since the adults had a great time in the other room listening to the music, eating and watching your amazing dancer, Autumn. The girls especially loved dancing the day away with her and comparing moves. Many guests commented about her non-stop energy! One more thing – this is the first time that all of the boys ( including mine) danced too at any Bar/Bat Mitzvah my kids attended. It takes special people to accomplish this feat and Dan – you did it. We appreciate Mary’s support as well throughout this long process. “What a Party!”

What a party! Both of you were fantastic all the way through. You set a wonderful tone and pace with your choice of music and the way you motivated the guests, especially the kids, in a fun but understated way. We could see that the kids were completely engaged on the dance floor, whether dancing, answering the trivia questions or participating in the raffle. The way you handled the party for Anders was completely mindful and respectful of his quiet and assuming nature and, even though he was the center of attention, you never forced him to be the center of attention in a way that made him feel uncomfortable. We are sure that he will always look back at this day as one of the most special days in his life. Thank you Dave and Dan.

“The ideal Bat Mitzvah for me”

Dear Dave and Dan,
This is Samantha and I just want to thank you so much for an amazing time at my Bat Mitzvah yesterday.  You gave it the perfect balance of fun but not too crazy.  I loved how there was such a variety in the music played. And I also was so happy with how you worked in Harry Potter trivia questions after I mentioned Harry Potter in the candle lighting, and then you also played “Your Wildest Dreams” after I spoke about that in the candle lighting. At some parties, people feel forced to dance when they may not want to, but yesterday you made everyone want to dance!  It was the ideal Bat Mitzvah for  and all of my friends(and the adults too said how the party and dj were “phenomenal”. Thank you so much!!

I wanted to thank you for your work on Sabrina’s Bat Mitzvah. Dan was the perfect low key and elegant presence at our party.  He handled the various auctions smoothly and kept the kids interested at all times with dancing and karaoke.  The kids had such a great time. Our party, as you know, was not  a cookie cutter formula and we appreciate Dan’s work to make it different and a success.  Thank you again. Our next affair will not be until fall of 2011 for my twins’ b’nai mitzvah but we will definately be in touch!

Hi Dan:

It was a fabulous party and we cannot thank you enough. Everything was wonderful! Our guests told us so and we felt it throughout. We loved the music, the sequence, and especially the ways in which you were able to mobilize even the shyest of kids and get them all dancing. I heard several comments from many kids who said the whole party was absolutely the best and that they did not want it to end. My closest friend from Boston has asked for your number and Expressway’s information for some friends in New England who are planning a wedding or some other event and I have passed your information along to them. Do you travel up north to do events or only handle the New York area? In any case thank you so much again for all. Somewhere in the next few weeks I will stop by to say hello personally (I have to travel this week for business) but in the interim we send you our sincere thanks and gratitude for a fabulous time and terrific memory. All of you – Dan, Julia, Chris, Gail, Mary, David and anyone with whom we have worked at Expressway have been top-notch all the way!

I meant to write sooner but we were away looking at colleges with our older daughter last week. I got your lovely note and just wanted to thank you for making the party a huge success. The word on the street is that Alice had the best Bat Mitzvah ever! (In 7th grade talk, that is really good.) We were all impressed with you and the crew (Dan was a huge smash so thank you so much for suggesting him) and you should know that I gave your name and number to many of my friends whose children are approaching the Bar/Bat Mitzvah age. Fabulous Event

Dear David,
Well, now that the dust has settled I would like to take a moment to thank you. Your dancers were as perfect as the MC, and you are, in the words of a 13 year old, an ‘awesome’ DJ. Our guests commented on how enjoyable the games were and how you kept all of the kids very busy, and that the sound level was perfect and you offered something for everyone, and by the way thank you for throwing in a Johnny Mathis.

Hottest Dancers

Hi David,
Sorry that it’s taken so long for me to write to say thank you for another wonderful bat mitzvah party. I think after the dust settled I just didn’t even want to think about it for a while! I watched Fred’s video and could really appreciate what a great job all of you did. The kids loved the karaoke and the games and treasure hunt, etc. The pubescent boys all told Lauren she had the hottest dancers they’d ever seen at a bar mitzvah. And so many kids danced! You Made Our Party

I just wanted to thank you for a job well done. I must tell you whatever you did IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!! We got nothing but compliments from the adults. The music was ‘perfect’. It was not too loud, no rap etc. They were all very comfortable. I wish I saw more. I just know that I didn’t need to because I didn’t see one kid wandering around. That I would have noticed. One day you must tell me what it looked like to you. (I wish I could really recall the party should have had a video)

Moran’s was wonderful but you know that you can ‘make or break’ a party!!!! You made it!!! Steven and I really appreciate how wonderful you made our party and will always recommend you to others!!! The ‘dancer’ was adorable no gorilla!!! Dan was really nice too. We thank you very very much!!!!!
