DAVID SWIRSKY
Disc Jockey/Founder
Expressway founder David Swirsky has been dj’ing for most of his life. A “Student” of Popular Music and Songwriters he first starting dj’ing private parties and events at his alma mater Syracuse University. Afterwards, he founded Expressway Music in July of 1992, in New York City. David has DJ’d countless weddings and unique private events in the finest venues in New York City and throughout the United States and abroad. David has also had a number of his original songs featured on Television movies and recorded by various music artists.  David and his wife Katherine and two cats reside in Manhattan.

DJ with Expressway Music since 1996
A former star athlete(Baseball and Football) Dan is also a gifted DJ and Vocalist. Dan joined Expressway music full time in 1996 and quickly became one of the most requested private event DJs in New York City.  Dan consistently astounds clients with his song choices and packed dance floors. Dan also hosts various Karaoke events throughout Manhattan and is an exceptional singer. He has a strong command of all styles and genres of popular music and gets outstanding reviews from clients year after year. Dj Dan lives in New York City.

ALBERTO
Bi-Lingual DJ with Expressway Music since 2001
Cuban born dj Alberto is a trained professional dancer/choreographer whom has produced many major productions and was the chief administrator for a major dance company here in Manhattan. Alberto joined Expressway Music in 2001 and has consistently been one of our most requested talents.  Al is a consummate professional and we are often told by clients before their event they feel they are in very capable hands with Alberto. After the event they rave. DJ Alberto lives in Astoria Queens NY.

Sean is a DJ, musician, composer and producer who has built his career on both the east and west coasts for the past 10 years. Sean is an expert at reading and creating packed dance floors through his vast knowledge of music and many years of dj’ing. When not DJ’ing weddings and events, Sean can be found playing funk guitar in some of NYC’s best rooms and writing Broadway Musicals. Sean would love to bring his creativity and awesome client-oriented attitude to your next wedding, party or event.

JEANINE
DJ Expressway Music since 1998
Jeanine is a versatile talent. She is a trained dancer, choreographer and vocalist. A career dj Jeanine has been with Expressway Music since 1998. Simply put, clients love Jeanine. She’s talented. focused and cares deeply about each event she dj’s. DJ Jeanine, husband and daughter live in Long Island NY.

DAN (pronounced “Don”)

Call Dan(”Don”) your “right-and-left-brain” DJ. Since moving to New York seven years ago(from LA), he has planned events, led school tours and balanced budgets for various cultural organizations. At the same time he has been DJ’g clubs, radio, weddings and special events. When he is not DJ’g, he writes about music for various music industry publications and studies Martial arts. Dan also has a good knowledge of Japanese, Spanish and Italian.  Dan and his fiancee reside in Brooklyn NY.

Disc Jockey
DJ Joe is one of the most requested dj’s in NYC.  While Joe is still relatively new to Expressway Music he came highly recommended to us by a number of well respected event industry sources. He has many years experience dj’ing weddings and private events and excels at reading the crowd without being over the top or intrusive.

JAY
DJ with Expressway Music since 1997
DJ Jay is and educator by day and a dj by weekend and night. Jay is a seasoned dj and emcee with a great ability to analyze each crowd. Jay can make all necessary announcements and has years of experience dj’ing events and a huge knowledge of many styles of music. Jay is also versatile in the types of events he dj’s(Weddings, Mitzvahs, Corporate etc). Dj Jay, his wife and four boys live in Long Island NY.

NOELLE

Noelle is a professional DJ with over 10 years of experience playing all types of private events and celebrations.  Her friendly rapport with clients and fantastic DJ sets have earned her an exceptional reputation throughout the tri-state area.  Noelle seamlessly blends classic and contemporary music from all genres to keep guests happy and dancing.

Office Admin CharissaCharissa
Office Admin
Originally from Manila The Philippines, Charissa is Expressway Music’s chief office administrator. Charissa is in charge of most things office related and is the liason between clients and between Expressway Talent. Charissa has been a tremendous addition to Expressway Music.
