Expressway Music dj Alberto provided the music for a beautiful wedding at NYC Landmark the Riverside Church
last night

As guests arrived dj Alberto played  an eclectic mix of classical selections and then dj’d the processional and recessional songs for the ceremony. For the reception DJ Alberto “rocked the house” to a very diverse song list that pleased all guests. Expressway Music also provided full dance floor lighting and the projector and screen for the montage that played on a loop thru out the wedding.  Thank you very much to Riverside Church event manager Gito for helping produce a very successful wedding.

Last weekend had picture perfect weather and Sunday was no exception. After the beautiful ceremony the 250 guests enjoyed a huge buffet of Sushi, Lox, pasta and much more on the deck of the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville LI New York.

After bride and groom were introduced into the room there was long festive Hora(after the first dance) and there was enthusiastic participation by all(especially the groom!)

This was a Sunday afternoon wedding but guests danced as if it were a Saturday night!!!!

Everyone was feeling the music provided by dj Dave(especially these guys!)

Joann and Mike were married last Saturday and held the wedding reception at popular event space the Manhattan Penthouse on 5th Ave.

Guests were immediately treated to a diverse assortment of hor doerves by the wonderful staff at the MP over looking the New York City Skyline.

The crowd was very diverse and danced to everything from Michael Jackson to Ukranian polkas and everything in between. Expressway Music dj Dave Swirsky oversaw all the music and kept guests dancing all night.

Monica from the Manhattan Penthouse did a great job, as usual, running the wedding and the staff there is outstanding. NYC wedding phototographers Cly Creations were the photographers for the wedding.

Expressway Music provided the sound for the wedding ceremony held in a tent overlooking the NYC skyline as well as the disc jockey for the reception.

After the wedding ceremony guests were treated to an outdoor cocktail hour with beautiful views and delicious food!

The Expressway Music dj introduced bride and groom into the room and for thier first dance Sam and Theresa performed a special dance to the delight of the 275 guests in attendence. After that dancing continued all evening.

DJ Dan is one of the busiest dj’s in NYC. Here is pictured dj’ing a wedding last weekend in Manhattan for a bride in the music industry.

Dan generally dj’s for us 3 to 5 times per week. The other nights he is hosting karaoke events.

We loved having you at the wedding heard so much great feedback about you from friends and family. One friend of mine congratulated me on making such a great play list and was a bit drop jawed when we said we only asked for a couple specific songs.
We have a ‘thank you’ card for you and want to know if we should just send it to expressway, or if there is another address you’d prefer.

On a beautiful summer’s day, Lynda and Paul were married yesterday at the picturesque Wedding/Event Venue The Central Park Boathouse.

As guests arrived the popular Expressway Music trio “Green Cental Station” played outside for the pre-ceremony cocktail hour.

The wedding ceremony was short and truly sweet. Expressway Music provided the guitarist and sound for the officient.

Expressway Music dj David was the dj for the wedding and was joined by Expressway music trio “Green Central Station” for the reception. They traded sets throughout the wedding.

There were many unique moments in this wedding including the bridesmaids doing a custom dance for the bride and groom to a music melody they mixed themselves. There was also a LOT of dancing throughout!

Thank you to Lynda and Paul and hope they have a great time on their one month honeymoon!! Also, thank you to wonderful Maitre de Harold from the Boathouse for running another successful wedding!!!

I was just getting on line to write you a thank you before we run off to the honeymoon when I saw your note! I didn’t get a chance to say a word to you all day but everytime I heard a great song, which was often, I looked up and saw you there and smiled! The band was great, too, though I’m wistful for all the songs I missed during the cocktail hour. However, my guests really enjoyed them–and you! (that was probably obvious!) I love all the Paul Simon / Simon and Garfunkel–wondered how you’d integrate in some of my “non-danceable” tunes and was so impressed and happy with how it all worked. (”Bridge Over Troubled Water” was especially perfect as the last song –I could write you a mini-novel about all the personal reasons why. But somehow you intuited the rightness of it and included it in the perfect spot–thank you!). Oh, and eternally grateful to you for getting the Ray LaMontagne in for the cake cutting (It was my first dance choice but Paul, though he liked it, hadn’t wanted it for various reasons. So glad you got it in there! Really great!)

Thanks again for everything! You and the band were just what our wedding needed musically to get the party started and keep it going! I’m going to have to write Danya a big thank you, too! You really were wonderful. Please pass on my big thanks to Jason and GCS–it was all great (my agent commented on how much she loved the recessional. I loved everything I got to hear! Just great!)

The event is coordinated every year by Community Leader Heidi Harrison Chain and thanks the local police, fireman and ambulance workers for working hard to make our communities safer and  more desirable to live in. Night out against crime is a nationwide event and there are hundreds of “night out” events throughout the country.

Expressway Music dj Dave Swirsky played music for all ages and provided the Bose sound system for the many guest speakers. Heidi also conducted a raffle that was very successful.

Many thanks to Heidi for coordinating another successful Night out against crime!

After the 5 star meal provided by the New York Palace guests danced all night.  

As you would expect the staff at the Palace is first rate and the wedding was expertly produced by Kaan(assistant Director of Banquets for the hotel). Expressway Music dj provided the music all evening with guests dancing to Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Journey, Timbaland, Marvin Gaye and much, much more.

Their wedding was announced in Sunday’s New York Times.

The couple were married on a stage in the center of Capitale.

Expressway Music dj/owner Dave Swirsky dj’d the reception playing music from classic Hollywood films throughout dinner and then on to Motown, Funk and Hits of today(Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Le Roux and more)

They’re were many memorable moments from this wedding including bride and groom singing “Crusin” to each other. Guests loved it!

After guests ate the delicious meal provided by Capitale guests danced all wedding long to dj david’s mix.

The wedding was run seemlessly by the amazing staff at Capitale especially the team of Pavel and Amanda who oversaw everything.

The Millennium UN Plaza Hotel NYC hosted a beautiful wedding Saturday Night

Bride and Groom were married on the 2nd floor of the east wing of the hotel. The ceremony was short and sweet and elegant. Expressway Music dj David Swirsky provided music for the entire wedding(ceremony, cocktail hour and reception)

After bride and groom were married guests gathered on the 29th floor on the west wing for cocktails. The views of New York City were breathtaking.

After cocktail hour guests returned to the second floor for the reception for dinner and dancing(to Expressway Music DJ David Swirsky)

Bride and Groom were introduced into the room by DJ David to “Gonna Fly Now”(from the Rocky soundtrack)and did a choreographed 1st dance to Beyonce’s “Halo“(it was very good!)

There was dancing all wedding long…..

DJ David mix reflected the diversity of the guests…younger, older, from NYC and many guests from outside NYC…..
